In January 1994, Farrar referred to as manager Tony Margherita to tell him of his decision to leave the band. The cloaked figure remained behind, watching Malfoy. Now a five-piece, ngewek Uncle Tupelo recorded their main label debut at Cedar Creek studio in Austin, Texas in early 1993.
