Inline Lever/Lever

Lever Pad
The lever pad upvc handle differs from the lever handles that are used on the majority of doors. These handle types can either operate from a single spindle (inline) or independently from each side by using two offset or inline spindles (pad). They are commonly employed on UPVC doors with
double glazing door handles glazing. They are available in a range of finishes & variations.
The handles have been tested to the minimum of 200,000 cycles and are available in several finishes like White, Silver, Chrome & Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and is resistant to rust. This provides the handle with the best performance and durability to serve the purpose it was designed for.
All UPVC handle lever pads include a spindle and screws, and can be fitted on the uPVC door. The 211mm backplate fixing centres allow for a wider size handle that is often a benefit when replacing a damaged or worn multi-point door lock mechanism. The handle levers are spring-loaded, which solves the issue of handles that slide from their horizontal position when not in use.
It is crucial to match the PZ dimensions for both the multipoint lock and the uPVC doors when selecting a replacement UPVC spindle and handle. This measurement is often called the "handle centre" or "cylinder centres and is an essential aspect to match the right handles.
Once you have decided on the correct size of PZ it is important to ensure that the lever and push pads are shaped to fit the American with Disabilities Act compliant handles that you need for your door. These are usually square or round with an internal lever and an external push pad.

Euro Cylinder
Cylinder locks are commonly used on uPVC doors, but can be utilized on other types of doors. Cylinder locks are operated with a key that unlocks the cylinder case. The case is then able to reveal pins that can be aligned with those inside the lock, allowing them to rotate the revolving camera, thereby opening the door. Euro cylinders are available with up to six pins. External and internal doors require different levels of security.
Choosing the right cylinder is essential; it is dependent on the way your door and handle are used. For instance, exterior doors require an extra secure cylinder, while internal doors can be secured with an ordinary cylinder. Certain cylinders come with extra features that can improve security, such as anti-drill or anti bump properties.
To ensure that the euro cylinder is of the right size for your door, it must be measured accurately. The cylinder should be measured from the hole for fixing screws in the middle to each end of the cylinder including the thumb turn if you have one. It is recommended to do this while the lock is in place however, if this is not possible, you may remove it to take measurements. It is important to not have a cylinder that extends beyond the handle or escutcheon. This could make it vulnerable to snapping lock attacks.
Most newer cylinders have been constructed with bump and anti-drill features built into their design. These are designed to reduce the chances of an attack by forcing the cylinder rotate in the opposite direction. This helps stop the attack and protect your doors.
There are also cylinders constructed to withstand snapping. This is a common occurrence on cylinders. A specific tool is used to break the break line of the lock, and the front of the cylinder is snapped off. This is a lot faster and less difficult than opening a multipoint lock and leaves little evidence of a break-in which can hinder an insurance claim.
Spring Cassette
This spring cassette is located in the base plate of your door handle. It provides a sprung solution to return your multipoint lock handles to their resting position after use. Previously a lot of these types of handle didn't have a spring built into them and without this they are more likely to slide or 'drop' once the locking mechanism is removed. The addition of this simple element is among the most effective ways to fix this, and is an effective way to keep your doors made of

These spring cassettes have been specifically designed to be used with sprung multipoint locks but they won't work with unsprung multipoint handles and you will need to have a bespoke hole cut into the backplate to allow them to fit (please check the image for a technical diagram). They are a replacement for damaged or missing cassettes inside the backplate of the door handle for many brands of uPVC doors.
