They offer a wider selection of brew sizes that include 0.85 ounces of ristretto, 1.35 ounces of double espresso, 5.8 ounces of lungo, and 14 ounces of Alto XL. They also offer a speedier process known as centrifusion, which rotates the pods at 7,000 RPM so that more water to pass for better extraction.
In addition to improving the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of capsules that can be reused and introduced a more sustainable packaging system. They are now using 80percent recycled aluminum for their coffee capsules and are committed to increasing the percentage of recycled and low-carbon virgin aluminum in future products.

It has smaller tanks and capsule container, but has 19 bars of pressure. This is more than enough to make the espressos and coffees that the majority of people purchase Nespresso for.
It is minimalist with a black design, and the top button is used to control all functions, from powering on to the rinsing process and making. This is a common feature of Nespresso machines and makes them easy to learn and operate.
Another advantage of this model is that it can be used with milk, and comes with a jug to make drinks with foam added. The machine also has 11 different milk temperature settings for customizing the texture of your latte or coffee and it is able to create both long and short cappuccinos and lattes.

If you're looking for a Nespresso machine that can make both milk-based and espresso drinks this model is for you. It's the latest model in Nespresso's Creatista line and is made by Breville (known as Sage in Europe). Sage, Heston Blumenthal’s company, makes the machine while Breville created the thermocoil heating system.
The most exciting feature of the new Creatista is its automatic steam and frothering system. Simply place your milk pitcher on the temperature sensor beneath the wand and the machine will take care of all the work for you. It comes with 11 options that allow you to modify the texture of your milk. If you prefer a more traditional approach, you can also choose to manually froth your milk.
Another great feature of the Creatista is its fast temperature-up time. It can be up to temperature in just 3 seconds, which is much quicker than the majority of Nespresso machines. The design of the machine is sleek and beautiful with a sleek body made from stainless steel that looks stunning on any counter. The high-resolution LCD provides simple navigation when setting up, preparing and maintaining the machine. It is available in four colors: sea salt, black truffle, damson blue, and the stainless steel version. The Creatista is also compact with dimensions of 6.7 inches by 15.4 12 inches (WxDxH). It's the smallest Nespresso machine in the OriginalLine, so it can easily fit on any counter.
5. CitiZ
This streamlined espresso maker from Nespresso takes up less counter space than other models. It also comes with a fold-away cup tray that can be used to accommodate larger recipe glasses and mugs. This is a fantastic option for kitchens with smaller spaces and makes it easier to use the machine with larger recipes. The 19 bar extraction system makes it easy to recreate cafe favorites, and the fast heat-up is a further benefit.
The basic CitiZ does not include a milk frother, but you can purchase one on its own or get it as part of the CitiZ&Milk bundle. This bundle also includes the Aeroccino milk-steamer, so you can create delicious cappuccinos and creamy lattes. You can also use capsules that can be reused with this model, however they're not included.
It comes with a large 1 liter water tank and a used capsule container that holds up to 11 capsules. Contrary to the Pixie model, this one does not automatically empty used capsules after the brewing process; you must raise and lower the holder in order to get the capsules out.
It's an easy-to-use machine, and its sleek design is easy to wipe clean. This model comes with the option of descaling, however there's no designated indicator or button and the process can be a bit difficult to understand. Nespresso suggests using its own descaling system and then running it through after 300 to 1,200 cups, depending on the hardness of your water. The drip tray and the water tank can be removed for easy cleaning.
6. Gran Lattissima
Gran Lattissima is a premium single-serve espresso machine as well as a milk machine.
